What laser system do you use?
Using one of the worlds leading technology the "Candela Gentle Max Pro" is the gold standard for laser hair removal in all skin types. It is a dual wavelength laser platform that combines the fastest and most powerful 755 nm Alexandrite laser with an equally powerful 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser for high performance treatment capabilities in terms of speed, efficacy, performance, safety and client satisfaction.
Does it hurt?
Laser hair removal is a safe and effective procedure. The discomfort associated with laser hair removal is fairly minimal. The sensation feels like a rubber band snapping on the skin. In most cases, the treatment is not painful. However, some people experience mild discomfort while others experience no discomfort at all. It depends on your pain tolerance, menstrual cycle, treatment area and how much heat is already present prior to your treatment.
Laser Facials are a non ablative treatment with no downtime. This is a relaxing treatment with no discomfort.
Is it safe for all skin types?
The energy of the laser selectively targets dark melanin in the hair follicle, which is what gives hair its colour. As the laser beam travels through the skin it heats up this dark pigment, which damages the follicle and destroys its ability to produce hair.
